WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect contact and account details (name, email, mobile, service address, access notes you provide such as gate codes/lockboxes), service data (bin day, visit history, time-stamped photos for proof of service, support messages), billing data processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card details), and basic website/marketing data (analytics/cookies, campaign source, consent preferences).

HOW WE USE IT

We use your information to deliver the service (scheduling, routing, notifications, proof-of-service photos, support), to bill and maintain records, to improve safety and quality (incident and hazard notes), and—if you consent—to send marketing which you can opt out of at any time by replying STOP to SMS or using email unsubscribe.

SHARING & SECURITY

We use reputable processors for payments, hosting, and messaging. They access only what is needed to serve us. Access codes are stored securely and visible only to authorised staff. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

INCIDENT RECORDS & SAFETY DISCLOSURES

To protect our staff and customers, we may record and retain incident details (dates/times, address, descriptions, relevant messages/photos). Where reasonably necessary, we may share incident information with law enforcement, insurers, legal advisers, or subcontractors involved in the job. We retain such records only as long as needed for safety, legal, or insurance purposes.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access to and correction of your personal information. You may opt out of marketing at any time; operational service alerts may still be required.

RETENTION

We retain account and billing records while your account is active and for required compliance periods, then securely delete or anonymise. Proof-of-service photos and incident records are kept for a reasonable period, then deleted or anonymised.

COOKIES & TRACKING

We use cookies and pixels for site performance and analytics, and to show relevant BinMate ads. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; some features may be affected.

UPDATES

We may update this policy; the latest version will be posted on our website.
